Autumn is a beautiful time of year in Missouri. As we head into October the leaves start to turn, and the season officially transitions into autumn; the time of year when people begin baking apple pies and filling their homes with the scents of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. It’s also time to plan a visit to one of the many pumpking patches in Missouri!

PUMPKIN PATCHES IN Kansas City
It is the time of year when the weather cools down, and the humidity significantly reduces. Following that, football season begins, and you can find pumpkin spice everything and it’s time to start planning a trip to one of the local pumpkin patches.

Carolyn’s Country Cousins
Raasch Farms is a year-round working farm but for 7 weeks each fall, it is also the home of Carolyn’s Pumpkin Patch!
Carolyn’s Country Cousins pumpkin patch offers a broad array of activities. Kids can enjoy a petting farm and Little Bud’s Railroad. There are wagon rides and don’t forget about The Pumpkinator, a device for launching pumpkins.
Farm-Made Pumpkin Donuts, Kettle Corn & Fudge are available for purchase.
Tickets are sold by 1 Hour Check-in Times. Once you enter, you can stay and enjoy the Farm as long as you like!

KC Family Fun Farm
KC Family Fun Farm pumpkin patch is located in Olathe, Kansas, however, it is one that Kansas City residents often choose since it’s a little off the beaten path and the perfect place to spend a whole day.
Besides picking out the perfect pumpkin, families can enjoy slides, corn mazes, farm animals, and over 50 other fun fall activities. Currently, the farm is open Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 10am- 3pm.
KC Family Fun Farm is a 40-minute drive from Kansas City.

St Louis PUMPKIN PATCHES
Below are our two favorite local pumpkin patches near St. Louis, MO.
Boonies Farm features a giant corn maze. Every year, they host a Fall Days festival with fun photo opportunities, a bouncy house, live music, corn maze and even duck races. Before you’re too tired, make sure to pick out the perfect pumpkin to complete your fall decor.
The farm is open from late September to early November each year for its Fall celebration with 20+ attractions, delicious foods, & fun activities for all ages.
Boonies Farm’s is open Sat & Sun from 12pm – 3pm.

Eagle Fork Farms
Eagle Fork Farms pumpkin patch evolved from a roadside stand to a farm filled with tons of fun activities. Not only is it a great place to pick out a pumpkin, but it’s also steeped in rich history. The city was originally a stagecoach stop in the early 1800s. The farm is reopening for the fall season on September 1st.

PUMPKIN PATCHES IN Branson
McKenna’s Pumpkin Patch
If you choose to visit McKenna’s Pumpkin Patch, plan for a full day of fun. Not only can you visit the pumpkin patch, they also have many other fun activities. Some of the highlights including swinging tubes, a jump pad, and human-sized Gerbil wheels. Once the sun starts to set, take a hayride through the spooky woods. The farm is opening on September 26th. The hours are 10 am to 6 pm.

The Cave Pumpkin Patch
This unique spot is located just outside Ozark Lakes near Brumley. Missouri is known as the cave state, and this pumpkin patch celebrates the nickname. At Cave Pumpkin Patch, you’ll first want to pick your pumpkin and then explore the cave. After this, enjoy the various fun fall things to do, including barrel train rides and a corn house.
The farm is scheduled to open Saturday, October 1, 2022. Hours are Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 5 during the fall season.

Beggs Family Farm
Beggs Family Farm is a working farm that has been operating since 1895. Their 2022 Fall Harvest Festival runs from October 1-31. During a visit you can explore the working farm, get lost in their famous cornfield maze, take a wagon ride, visit farm animals, pick a pumpkin from the patch and try their delicious homemade fudge.

Pony Express Pumpkinfest
PumpkinFest happens every year in St. Joseph and features many fun events. Every year, Pony Express sponsors this arts and crafts fair, full of fall-themed arts. There is a wide selection of Halloween activities for children, including a costume contest and storytellers. After you see the great wall of pumpkins, you can choose one of your own to carve. The 2022 event dates have not been announced yet.

Weston Red Barn Farm
This Weston Barn Farm pumpkin patch is a trek back in time. Besides getting to take a hayride, you’ll also learn what life was like on a 19th-century farm. Picking out your pumpkin may be difficult because their website boasts an extensive selection. The farm is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.
During the fall, the farm comes alive as we celebrate the harvest. Weekends starting Labor Day means Fall Festival. Bring your family to take a hayride to the pumpkin patch and pick the perfect pumpkin, visit the animals, shop our country store and more.

Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park
Don’t worry, you won’t have a hard time finding the Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park pumpkin patch; it’s easy to see because of the giant red barn. Make sure to stop by and say hi to the animals. Afterward, there’s a corn maze to wander. Before you leave, make sure to find a pumpkin you can carve while listening to spooky Halloween music. The farm is open from 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday.

Not only will you find and pick your own pumpkins at Buckeye Acres, but also find fresh items like cornstalks to decorate your house in a perfect fall style. Pin Oak Farms
The Pin Oak Farms pumpkin patch is located just outside Herman in New Haven, Missouri. During the fall, the farm has so many different things that they even suggest a weekend trip. Considering there’s a five-acre corn maze, multiple play areas, a straw-bale maze, and many other activities, it sounds like a great place to spend a weekend.

Exeter Corn Maze
The Exeter Corn Maze is located in Southwest Missouri, only 45 minutes from Joplin, and Springfield. They offer 8 acres of kid-friendly fun for all ages including area’s largest pumpkin patch, with over 75 acres of different pumpkin varieties, starting at $1.
In addition to the pumpkin patch, there is a corn maze, haunted barn, zombie paintball, hay rides, haunted corn maze, pumpkin jumps, cow train, petting zoo, corn cannons, pumpkin cannon, paintball shootout shack, ziplines, corn pit, rock wall, pig races, pumpkin eating dragon, axe throwing, hay maze, giant slide and go-karts. Truly something for the whole family to enjoy!
The farm is open 12 pm to 9 pm Friday and Saturday, 12 pm to 6 pm, and 5 pm to 8:30 pm on Wednesday.

Campbell’s Maze Daze & Pumpkin Patch
The name of the farm says it all. Campbell’s Maze Daze & Pumpkin Patch is loaded with many ways to celebrate family fun and get ready for Halloween.
Aside from the four-acre corn maze and pumpkin picking, you can go on a scavenger hunt, visit the haunted maze, take a hayride, enjoy a bonfire, sing karaoke and even try your hand at painting pumpkins.
The farm is open from September 26th through September 30th from 12 pm to 7 pm. During the month of October, the farm is open Fridays from 5 pm to 11 pm, Saturdays from 12 pm to 11 pm, and Sundays from 12 pm to 7 pm.

Parker’s Corn Maze in Hannibal
Ok, our final location isn’t a pumpkin patch, but we promise it’s a lot of fall fun! Parkers Corn Maze in Hannibal is six acres of kid-friendly fun! Beyond the maze, there are activities for all ages, a gift shop for drinks, snacks, decor, jellys and spices. Open from 10am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday through November 1st.

Gunter Farms Corn Maze
Gunter Farms is a family-owned dairy farm and pumpkin patch located in southwest Missouri. Pumpkins, gourds, corn stalk bundles, straw bales, and of course the famous 8 acre corn maze.
The fall season starts on October 1st and is sure to be fun for all ages.
