Autumn is a beautiful time of year in Missouri. It is the time of year when the weather cools down, and the humidity significantly reduces. Following that, football season begins, and you can find pumpkin spice everything and it’s time to start planning a trip to one of the local pumpkin patches.
As we head into October the leaves start to turn, and the season officially transitions into autumn; the time of year when people begin baking apple pies and filling their homes with the scents of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove.
Many things make fall a fun season, such as warm apple cider and hot soup after a walk in the woods or opening up a box of fall clothing full of sweaters and brightly colored scarves you haven’t seen since last year.
Going to one of the many beautiful pumpkin patches in Missouri during the fall season is another must-do activity. So grab your favorite scarf and sweater (or flannel shirt), and start a pot of soup in the crockpot because you’ll need it when you get back home from a day of enjoying corn mazes, hayrides, and picking out pumpkins to carve.
If you’re looking for the best local pumpkin patches, corn mazes, apple orchards, and other fall family-friendly attractions in Missouri, look no further than this list.
