4. Truman Lake Fishing Expo in Clinton | February 9-10, 2024

1st Friday art gallery

Come and view art from Missouri artists in the Alliance Art Gallery in Hannibal Missouri. The Hannibal Second Saturday Gallery Night event happens on each second Saturday of the month from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

Each month, Gallery Night hosts a featured artist. There is art from other local artists, food, and fun. Original pieces of sculpture, prints, photographs, and paintings are for sale.

6. Morpho Mardi Gras In Saint Louis – Through FEbruary 13, 2024

Visit the beautiful Butterfly Garden at the Missouri Botanical Garden the first day of March. You can see gorgeous Morpho Blue butterflies that might land on your hand or arm. This is an exciting and memorable event for the entire family.

Admission is free for members. 13 and up is $14 per person and Seniors are $6 if they are Saint Louis city residents.

The event runs until February 13th, Sunday through Thursday from 10 am – 4pm.

11. Mardi Gras Pub Crawl in Lake of the Ozarks – February 16-17, 2024

The 2024 Lake Pub Crawl is a three-day event that allows more celebration time and less crowding in the same venues. In early February, you can purchase the LOZ Mardi Gras Pub Crawl Passport App from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Buying the app is not a requirement to participate. There are a variety of transportation opportunities in the area.

12. KC Brew Fest in Kansas City | Feburary 17, 2024

In a city famous for its excellent craft beer, Brew Fest is a huge annual event. Admission is $50 for general admission (1-4pm or 5-8pm) and $65 for early admission, but your ticket covers beer samples.

The event will take place at historic Union Station, and will feature over 50 breweries, 150 beers, music, and KC’s best food trucks to keep you from sampling on an empty stomach. Plus, the historic Union Station is a Kansas City must-see all its own. The event takes place from 12:00pm – 8:00pm.

13. Winter Reptiles and Exotics Show in Springfield – February 24-25, 2025

Exhibitors will showcase exotic mammals, amphibians, birds, and reptiles at the Winter Reptiles and Exotics Show. There will be a variety of reptile equipment like substrate, cleaners, heating, feeders, lighting, and more. 

Food, activities, educational stations, and face painting will also be featured. Both days, the event takes place from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds.

14. Hot Winter Fun Big Show in Branson – February 24, 2024

Take a trip to Branson, Missouri, to escape the winter blues. On February 24, Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater presents the 30th Annual Hot Winter Fun Big Show.

The line-up includes the Hughes Music Show, Legends in Concert, the SIX show, Elvis Live starring Jerry Presley, the Re-Vibe show, Golden Sounds of the Platters, Legends of Country, Hamners’ Unbelievable Variety Show, and more. Josh Clark of The Upside on 106.3 will Emcee. The show starts at 3:00 PM.

15. Ski, Snowboard & Tubing – Thru Mid-March (weather permitting)

You can ski at Hidden Valley in Wildwood and Snow Creek in Weston, Missouri. Activities at both resorts include tubing, snowboarding, and skiing. Trails range from beginner to advanced. Both resorts are affected by weather conditions. Typically, they is open about 70 days per year.

They both have a retail shop, bar, and cafeteria. The resorts offer night skiing, a ski school, and first aid. Equipment rental is available.
