1. The Gingerbread Shoppe in Kirkwood – Nov. 24 – Christmas Eve
Summit Produce at the Downtown Kirkwood Farmers Market hosts the Gingerbread Shoppe & Christmas market. Each year this a 2500 + sq. foot holiday wonderland is created that is a fun, bustling, and high energy environment. You will find more than 150 candy and candied items along with thousands of ornaments & hand tied bows, holiday home decor, novelties, locally grown poinsettias, stocking stuffers, local foods, baked Christmas goodies and so much more.The shoppe is also a Christmas Tree lot.

2. View the Plaza Lights in Kansas City – November 26 through December 31st
Don’t miss the spectacular Plaza Lights in Kansas City. The Christmastime Light ceremony has been celebrated since 1930. The lights are turned on Thanksgiving Day. The lights will be illuminated daily from 5 pm to 3 am.
Each day a different child is selected at random from the audience to turn on the lights by flipping the big switch on the stage. Check the schedule for entertainment, virtual performances from various artists, window shopping, carolers, and horse-drawn carriage rides.

3. Victorian Festival of Christmas in Hannibal – November 27th – December 24th (Various Events)
Viewing the Plaza LIGHTS in Kansas City is a major attraction in Missouri every holiday season. Another not-to-miss experience is the Victorian Festival of Christmas in Hannibal. Events include Scottish Rite festival of trees, Babes in Toyland parade, Downtown Living Windows and the Candlelight Homes Tour.
Stroll through Hannibal this December and enjoy the live window decoration that make downtown Hannibal a historic Christmas scene. The Christmastime annual living window features the creativity of each business window night display that is revealed as a surprise, great characters, and entertainment.
4. WOWZA Wednesday in St Joseph – December 1st
WOWZA fired alcohol ink pics is a creative experience hosted and sponsored by Oodles of Doodles. They provide everything needed for this one-of-a-kind painting session. You will be guided in this painting lesson. First, you’ll pick any ink color and paint your masterpiece on 2 white framed canvases, then set them on fire or take the finished piece home.

5. The Haygoods Christmas Show in Branson – December 2nd-30th
The Haygoods music show is the most popular show in Branson, Missouri. The family band includes five brothers and one sister and they have been performing together since 1993. The Haygoods bring down the house night after night with incredibly tight harmonies, innovative, energetic choreography and epic performances on over 20 different instruments!
With two-three Christmas shows per week in December, you have plenty of opportunities to see The Haygoods Christmas show. The show takes place at the Clay Cooper Theater, which is a 2-minute walk from the Titanic Museum.

6. 2021 Candy Cane Hunt at Central Park in Chesterfield – December 4th
Kids can hunt down candy canes that have been hidden throughout Chesterfield’s Central Park. There will be candy canes, holiday characters, and lots of fun! The Candy Can Hunt starts at 4 pm and ends when all the candy canes are found.
Each age group will have their own areas for the hunt. Hot cocoa will be provided, and special holiday guests will be on hand to help candy cane hunters. After the hunt, stay for crafts and the first annual Holiday Tree Lighting.
This event also has a toy drive for SSM Health Cardinal Glennon. Donations will be accepted for Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. All details for the toy drive here.
The Candy Cane Hunt will be held on Saturday, December 4th at 4 p.m. Registration is required and is $12 per child. The rain date is December 11.

7. Annual Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade – Dec 4
The residents of Sedalia are familiar with this traditional festive parade celebration that has been held annually for the past 50 years ago. The event will be hosted by the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce on December 4th, 2021 from 6 pm – 9 pm. Hundreds of people in the community will kick off the holiday season and watch the parade as it makes its way from Ohio street to Downtown Sedalia.
Admission is free. The event will also feature free entertainment and music.

8. Dickens Christmas in Warrnsburg – December 4th
Sponsored by Warrensburg Main Street, the storefronts of Downtown Warrensburg will be brought to life by local artists during Dickens Christmas! This day-long event on the first Saturday in December will include horse and wagon rides, carolers strolling down the streets, live music in local businesses, chestnut roasting on an open fire, a tree lighting ceremony, and much more.

9. Hannibal Jaycees’ Christmas Parade – December 4
The Hannibal Jaycees is hosting its annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 4th.. The parade starts at 6 p.m. at the end of Broadway with floats gathering in the Save-a-Lot parking lot. The route follows Broadway and then turns onto historic North Main Street. There, downtown merchants will greet shoppers at the Victorian Festival of Christmas. Be sure to grab those special gifts and support small local business!

10. 2021 Weston MO Candlelight Homes Tour – December 4th-5th
Residents of Weston come together to celebrate the Candlelight home tour which is an annual historic celebration. The celebration is a festive tradition celebration for Weston residents for over 40 years and features touring several historic homes, events, and a surprise tour within a tour.
In addition, there will be street activities which include Father Christmas, carriage rides, entertainment, carolers, and many more. The shops are getting ready, carolers are practicing, Father Christmas is rested up, and tasty treats are being planned….nobody does the holidays like Weston!
Tours run from 2-7 pm Saturday & Sunday.

11. PJs and Pancakes with Santa Claus Cruise in St. Louis – Dec 4, 11 & 18
PJ’s and Pancakes with Santa Claus Cruise on the Gateway Arch Riverboats. Bring the whole family decked out in your Christmas PJ’s to enjoy a bountiful pancake breakfast, holiday activities, and the chance to spend time with Santa for a photo op. Reservations are required. 12. 2021 Kristkindl Markt at Stone Hill Winery in Hermann – December 5th
Kristkindl Markt is a traditional German Christmas market in a heated Sherry House. Enjoy crafts, Christmas goodies, German traditional foods, carolers & mulled wine from 10 am-5 pm on the 5th of December.
Therefore, you should include this town in your festive season itinerary because it attracts visitors all over the world and makes everlasting memories. The festival will feature Christmas goodies, carolers, mulled wine, German music and dancing, crafts, live music, and fun for all ages.

13. Say Cheese Wine Trail in Hermann – December 11
Sip and sample wine and cheese pairings, from the classic to the creative. Held annually on the second Saturday of December, the Say Cheese Wine Trail coincides with Hermann’s popular Kristkindl Markt, an Old-World holiday market.

14. Ozark Sailing Club – Awards Dinner and Holiday Party at Ozark Lakes – Dec 11th, 2021.
The Ozark Club annual Awards Dinner and Holiday Party will start at 11:00 am and end at 5:00 pm. The holiday ceremony will be hosted for sailing enthusiasts and to promote the sport of sailing. The event will be fun-filled with great food, awards will be given for the 2021 race season champs, and enjoy viewing photos taken throughout the season. OYC is just two miles from Highway 54 near the Historic Bagnell Dam and is the closest marina to St. Louis and Kansas City at the Lake of the Ozarks.

15. Trivia Tuesday: Christmas Time at RISE Café in Warrensburg – Dec 14th
Join others at RISE Cafe and get in the Christmas spirit. Trivia Tuesday is here to test your knowledge about the Christmas season. The Christmastime event is hosted by RISE Community Service and will begin at 6 pm and end at 8 pm.
This trivia night holiday brings a lot of fun which also includes food and prizes to be won. For quality time, bring friends and family. Dinner and registration included for 4 people.

16. Trans-Siberian Experience at Jesse Auditorium in Columbia – Dec 14

17. for King & Country | A Drummer Boy Christmas in St. Louis – December 16th
Grammy award-winning brothers Joel and Luke of For King and Country will be performing A Drummer Boy Christmas Tour. The duo will perform in St. Louis on December 16 from 7 pm to 9:30 pm. The must-see kids and family, spirituality, and religion concert will feature new hits by King and Country, Christmas classics, and holiday staples.

18. Zach Williams: I Don’t Want Christmas to End in Springfield – December 17th – 18th
Attend a performance by Zach Williams at Gillioz Theatre. The I Don’t Want Christmas to End performances are scheduled for December 17th and 18th, 2021 at 7:00 pm.
Hear Zach Williams No.1 debut single” Chain Breaker” live in concert. 19-year-old Anne Wilson will also join him as a guest on the tour.

19. Black Party XVII New Year’S Eve – Friday, December 31st
