Casual Animal Brewing Company

Casual Animal Brewing Company

Casual Animal is summed up in the company motto: “Laid-back beers that tap into your wild side.” Our expansive and lush taproom space invites guests to grab a beer and stay awhile to take in the exposed square brick walls, live plants, and floor to ceiling murals.

We only offer sessionable beers between 5-7% ABV so people can feel confident and about opening their laptop to crush some emails, taking an afternoon meeting offsite, or simply the opportunity to linger a little longer with friends and family.

Local Motive is Casual Animal’s “give-back tap”. Every two months, the Local Motive beer changes in style (i.e. strawberry wheat, cold IPA, pale ale) and nonprofit beneficiary. Over the course of two months, $2 of every pint of the Local Motive beer sold goes directly to the non-profit organization selected during that time period.

We only select local nonprofits to ensure the money raised stays right here in our community to support the important work these organizations do. When in doubt, we always tell people to start with a pint of Local Motive so they can feel even better about drinking good beer for a good cause!

When Coleman stumbled upon a prime location in the historic Jazz district, he knew he had found the perfect spot for his brewery and reached out to Bonds to propose a business partnership.
