1. Shakespeare in the Park: Much ADO ABOUT NOTHING (June 1 – 26)

For the 22nd Annual free production in Forest Park, Shakespeare Festival St. Louis presents “Much Ado About Nothing.” 

Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare’s most popular and enduring comedies. The central characters, Beatrice and Benedick, are thorny, intelligent, witty and hopelessly bad at love. A battle royale ensues in a hilarious attempt to resist their overpowering mutual attraction that makes Much Ado such a timeless story of romance, suspicion and restoration.

Seating for Shakespeare in the Park is FREE and open to all on a first come first serve basis. No reservations required!

2. First Fridays in Grand Center (June 3)

On the first Friday of every month, museums and galleries in Grand Center Arts District are free and open until 9pm. It’s an evening of art, music, and culture. Check out the June participating Locations.

3. Pop Art Paint Nite: PRIDE Edition (June 7)

This event is designed for those arts and craft lovers. This is a paint-by-number event for grown-ups and it is all pride-themed. For Pop Art Paint Nite you will be able to pick the illustration you want to paint when you purchase your ticket and get ready for an evening of adult crafting fun.

All paints and art supplies will be provided for you. Drinks from Tropical Liqueurs and food from Taco Circus will be available throughout the night.

Tickets are $20 per person and the event takes place from 6:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

4. STL Wine & Bubbly Fest (June 11)

Science and wine? What a fun combination! Explore the St. Louis Science Center after hours while sampling more than 100 wines, including sparkling wine options from around the world.

The STL Wine & Bubbly Fest event is part of the Uncorked Wine Festival rolling across the country this summer. There are three ticket options for this event, the VIP Package is $90 and includes early entry, an exclusive VIP area, with higher-end wine offerings, and a special logo wine glass. The $70 ticket allows for early entry and comes with extra wine tasting options. With the $60 ticket, you get general admission. All ticket levels come with unlimited wine tastings.

5. Juneteenth Celebration (June 11)

Kick-off your Juneteenth festivities on St. Louis’s Delmar Loop. The Juneteenth Celebration will feature art, including a live art installation of a community mural painting.

There will also be live music, yummy food, bounce houses, face, and henna paintings, a science lab, art activities, balloon makers, a 360 photo booth, and more. A drum call by Baba Kumma will launch the festivities and other performers include African Masquerade-Masks to Stilts, African Dance by Spirit Angel, Red Black & Brass Band, and DJ KP. This event is free to attend.

6. Saucy Soiree Grand Tasting Party 2022 (June 12)

Bring your appetite down to St. Louis’s historic Union Station area to enjoy some of the best food the area has to offer! Every year Sauce Magazine polls its readers about the best eateries and drinking establishments in the St. Louis area and the Saucy Soiree Grand Tasting Party is your chance to sample the winners of the 2022 poll.

At this event, you get to sample dishes from the top restaurants in the area, while sipping on beverages from the top breweries, bars, and wineries. General Admission Tickets are $40.

8. Father’s Day Canoe Float on the Meramec River (June 16, 19)

Make this a Father’s Day to remember by taking dad on a canoe float trip down the Meramec River. The St. Louis County Park Rangers will guide you and your dad on a 7-mile canoe trip, where you get to explore the beautiful scenery along the river banks.

Be sure to pack a lunch, refreshments, and sunscreen, and get ready to paddle down the Meramec River. There are two dates for this canoe trip, Thursday, June 16th, and Sunday, June 19th. Registration costs are $40 per canoe.

9. Pride Bar Crawl (June 18)

Pride weekend in St. Louis, and be ready to celebrate at the Pride Bar Crawl.

It is Pride weekend in St. Louis, and be ready to celebrate at the Pride Bar Crawl. The bar crawl will kick off at the Rehab Bar and Grill at 4:00 p.m. and the festivities will go on to midnight. This includes the “after-party,” from 10:00 p.m. to midnight. Tickets include two drinks or shots, and an event stadium cup, available to the first 400 people to check-in.

10. Fan Expo (June 18-19)

It is time to celebrate all things comic books and pop culture when St. Louis Comic-Con (Formerly Wizard World) comes to town! This year’s Fan Expo event will pack a big punch with over 100 different vendor booths and artist tables to explore. There will also be special guests through the weekend.

Dress in your best cosplay for a chance to take home a cash prize, and/or take part in the video and tabletop gaming tournaments. Full weekend passes are $25, Saturday only is $18, while Sunday is $15. Kids under 12 are free!

11. BrewHop STL Tour – Bluewood, 2nd Shift, Perennial, and 4 Hands (June 25)

Do you enjoy a good craft beer? Then the BrewHop STL Tour is a perfect event for you. Tour breweries while enjoying samples of tasty craft beer. You will tour four area microbreweries and receive a full pour of craft beer at each stop. Transportation to each brewery is included with your ticket price. General admission tickets are $55 or there is $70 admission ticket that includes an event t-shirt. They are also offering a $35 ticket for people who want to tour the breweries but not drink.

12. Pridefest St. Louis (June 25-26)

PrideFest St. Louis is one of the most-attended Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) events in the Midwest region. Held in the green spaces outside of Soldiers Memorial, Market Street between North Tucker and North 15th.

The theme for PrideFest 2022 depicts our excitement to bring PrideFest back to our traditional home in Downtown St. Louis after a two-year hiatus.

Don’t miss the Pride Parade down Market Street on Sunday.

13. 22nd Annual St. Louis Water Garden Society Pond and Garden Tour (June 25-26)

Get ready to celebrate all things fishing, ponds, and gardening. The St. Louis Water Garden Society is kicking off its 22nd Annual Pond and Garden Tour.

The event is made up of touring 30 private gardens in the St. Louis area that are owned and cared for by the Society members. Enjoy these self-guided tours of some of the most beautiful gardens and home ponds in the area. Tickets start at $15 per person and cover both days of tours or receive a group discount of $10 a ticket for groups of 10 or more.

14. Backyard BBQ Wine Tasting (June 10)

BBQ and wine scream happy summer! The Backyard BBQ Wine Tasting event will help you learn which wines pair best with some of your favorite summer BBQ dishes.

Wine expert Faith Linkogel will be on hand to walk you through tasting and pairing the best wines with the pork steaks, burgers, hot dogs, etc. you will be eating throughout the night. Tickets are just $15.

15. St. Charles Block Party (June 11)

Celebrate the artform that is printmaking with a steamroller. At the Block Party, there will be large steamrollers on display, creating works of art carved on wood blocks and other large heavy machinery and vehicles will also be on display.

There will also be fun interactive art projects for everyone to participate in. And do not forget there will be live music, vendor booths, beer booths, and food trucks to enjoy. This event is free to attend.

16. Summer Solstice Sound Journey & Restorative Yoga (June 21)

Celebrate the Summer Solstice and kick off the changing seasons, all while getting in a little exercise. Stretch your legs and reach for the stars at the Summer Solstice Sound Journey & Restorative Yoga. This event is an amazing opportunity for the yoga lovers out there and those of you interested in starting off the summer season with a healthy mindset. Tickets are $25 per person.

17. Summer Solstice Sunset Canoe Float on the Meramec River (June 25)

Summer solstice is the longest day of the year and there is no better way to enjoy the day than a canoe float on the Meramec River. The Summer Solstice Sunset Float starts at Route 66 State Park. Canoes, paddles, and life jackets are provided, but make sure to bring your dinner, water, binoculars, and other personal items you will need for this evening float.

For ages 8 and up. Cost is $40 per canoe. Advance registration is required.
