2. First Fridays at the Crossroads Art District (June 3)
Every first Friday of the month the KC Crossroads fills with galleries and exhibits of artists of all kinds. This experience offers an immersive view of the art of local, national, and even international artists. Enjoy local restaurants, breweries, food trucks, and shops.

4. First Weekends in the West Bottoms (June 3-5)
The West Bottoms transform into a treasure-hunting paradise during the first weekend of each month. Antique and vintage stores open their doors for those in search of furniture, home decor and the occasional have-to-have statement piece.
June’s Warehouse Weekend theme is Brews in the Bottoms and is a great opportunity to scout out some unique summer pieces.

5. Hospital Hill Run (June 4)
Looking to get active for a good cause this June? The 49th annual Hospital Hill Run is taking place on Saturday, June 4th at 7am. All proceeds go towards the Children’s Mercy I Love Children’s Mercy Fund. Options include a half marathon, 5k or 10k.
All runners will receive a bag of race swag and bib numbers to wear during the race. Pricing depends on age and distance of race selected.

6. KC PrideFest (June 10-12)
Named one of the top 10 LBGTQ festivals in the nation, PrideFest 2022 Kansas City offers an inclusive way to celebrate and embrace diversity!
Hosted by the Kansas City Pride Community Alliance, this festival invites the LGBTQ community and its supporters to this annual event.
A parade will take place on Saturday, June 11 at 11am through downtown Kansas City with a kickoff party in Westport just before the parade from 8:30-10:30. Live music and performances from local and national headlines will follow!

11. Father’s Day Piano Drink-a-long Mixology class (June 19)

14. Vaile Strawberry Festival (June 4)
This annual Vaile Strawberry Festival centers around everyone’s favorite summer fruit, strawberries!
It takes place in the beautiful, historic Vaile Mansion. From 9am – 4pm on Saturday, June 4, patrons can enjoy dozens of craft, food and antique booths that will be set up throughout the mansion.
The Vaile Society will be selling strawberry treats to enjoy as you walk through and shop. Mansions tours will be offered throughout the day for $10 for adults and $5 for children.

15. Tacos and Tequila Festival (June 4)

The three-day “Everybody’s Favorite BBQ and Hotsauce Festival” will take place in the Kansas City area June 10-12. The festival offers a variety of food and entertainment to experience! The motive behind the festival is to celebrate and commemorate local teachers (K-12).
This exciting weekend is filled with laughter, music, food, fun, and fellowship. Entertainment includes, but is not limited to a BBQ sauce contest, Hotsauce contest, comedy shows, a talent show, a DJ, and Battle of the Bands.
